Pit digging without disturbing existing electrical, sewage or plumbing infrastructure

Hydrovac services

The hydrovac excavation process is used to remove or move soil using pressurised water. An air vacuum is then used to transfer the debris and soil to the debris tank. This allows a more accurate and non-destructive way of excavating soil and locating the underground services and utilities.

This process significantly reduces the risk of loss of property or injury to workers associated with contacting or cutting underground services or utilities, as can happen if mechanical methods are used.

It provides a more accurate and precise job, so damages to the surrounding pipes, services, utilities and environment are considerably lessened. In potholing, installation of pipes and cables, or in any excavation jobs, hydro excavation moves the soil accurately.

Hydro excavation can also be used in landscaping. It does the task delicately, so the surrounding soil is not disturbed allowing the landscape to have a stronger foundation resulting in fewer repairs and backfilling. The additional expenses for the material and labour of restoration jobs are then avoided.

In the long run, using the hydro excavation method is the best choice.
